Justin from Water Tally came to our Materials and Processes class last week and talked to us about the process of designing and physically created a product. Justin's product in this case was a Disc Golf bag. He warned us that the first prototype will be the most expensive, because it takes so long to make. In his case it coast him 6,000$. He also showed us that you don't have to be an expert in everything right out of college, you can learn from people on the job.
It took him a few years to finally get to his first successful product but now he is very successful and holds the GRIP name on many of his bags.
