BDS Duality Essay
In reality most of us end up a lot like our parents, often we don’t even notice it happening to us. With my mom, I have always been told I look just like her. Our facial features have always been the first thing people notice that is so similar between us then our nearly identical facial expressions freak people out a little bit but now it is how we act that people are noticing. In this essay, I will share with you my most founded memories, my feelings and the details of my relationship with my mom.
My most recent fond memories with my mom were when I was in high school. High school was one of the worst times in my life but also one of the best times because I became a lot closer to my mom. The most vivid memories I have with her were more of the little moments. Although we went to concerts and on vacations my more enjoyed memories with my mom were just watching the Bachelor with her on the couch, when she would fidget with my hair or lay down with me before I went to bed. I am happy I recognize these little memories now while I can still enjoy them because it seems that these are the memories a lot of people take for granted and think of when they loose someone.
The things my mom and I have in common are our need for planning, our “southern hospitality” said by me uncle Charles, she also gave me her drive to be the best. There are many more similarities that I share with my mom and that why I can’t wait to have kids and have one of my own mini me’s.
